Camino Community Church is proud to announce the return of AWANA for the 2008-2009 season.AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry. Our goal is to reach children and their families with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
AWANA is held on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm-8:30pm from September through May. There are 2 main groups:
Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
T&T - 3rd through 6th grade
The 3 segments of AWANA provide start to finish excitement in every club!1. Council Time : Kids and leaders gather together for singing, award presentations and a Bible message.
2. Handbook Time : Kids work one-on-one with their leader to finish sections in their handbook.
AWANA emphasizes memorizing and understanding selected key scriptures. A series of awards and trophies award their achievements.3. Game Time : Team competition in a game circle, which provides maximum opportunity for kids to get involved no matter their athletic capability. They unleash their energy while learning teamwork and sportmanship.
